"Spirits
come and visit their death site, especially when there's been sudden,
unexpected or untimely deaths. The spirits are not ready to rest. The
creator has a time for each of us. There is still a lot of unrest."
These
two 35mm photographs were taken by John Helstosky when he and
Joe Franke went on an expedition to Dudleytown on a cool
November night. The photo was taken seconds after strange noises
were heard behind them as they hiked towards the foundation
remains of Dudleytown. Earlier that evening, John had
experienced a "playful bump" from behind as he leaned
over with a flashlight in mouth to view his camera.
