Equipment Used: (2) Hi8 Sony Camcorders with Night Vision, Micro-cassette recorder, standard cassette recorder with stereo microphones, two 35mm cameras with flash, (2) Olympus Digital camera’s with flash, 2 motion detectors.

Overview: 
About 5-6 years ago a male employee in his early 40’s dies of a massive heart attack while on the job inside the facility. Since then, employees have been hearing strange unexplained sounds, and seeing dark shadows. One specific employee was walking around the building on his afternoon break when he interacted with who he thought was a new employee, but later identified the man as the one who died there 4 years earlier! The shocking part was that this employee was hired 3 years after the death of the former employee and had no prior knowledge and never seen him before, yet he described the man to the tee. This ghostly apparition has also been seen by some of the people who work the night shift and they describe him as being tall, light hair, long in a pony tail wearing a shop coat. CPRS learned that this is what the man was wearing the day he suffered his massive heart attack. A shop supervisor who was working the late shift one night all by himself described another paranormal incident. He said he felt the sense that he was being watched all night and then heard footsteps coming toward his office. He rolled his chair to the opening only to look down an empty hallway. He called out asking if anyone was there, but there was nobody. This same supervisor also recounted a strange occurrence early one morning before anyone reported for work. He said he was alone and was walking to the Men’s room when he noticed water running on the floor coming out from under the locked Women’s Room. He quickly retrieved the key and opened the door fearing a pipe had burst or toilet over-flowed, but found no evidence as to where the water came from. No clogged toilets, stalls & sinks were dry as well as the walls and ceiling. Just one large puddle of water on the floor going under the door with no evidence of where it came from. The thing that concerned him was that the water was moving out past the door when he passed by leading him to believe that there was a water leak somewhere. It did not rain that night or that morning. In fact, it hadn’t rained for several weeks. There was no evidence from the drop ceiling that this water came from above. Everything was dry. He called a plumber and scheduled a service call to check it out. The plumber could not find any evidence as to where the water came from. No leaks anywhere or evidence of prior leaks.

Investigation: 
The investigation began around 10PM Friday night Oct. 30, 2004 in the car on the way to the Machine Shop. The CPRS crew were driving in one car with “Gary the Psychic” and were scheduled to meet the shop supervisor at the facility. Gary had no prior knowledge of where he was going or any knowledge of the case itself. In the car on the way down, he began to make contact with an energy he described as an older male and as an owner of a machine shop. Both Joe and Orlando asked how he knew that, and he said that with the energy he was picking up he smelled oil or typical odors of a machine shop. Gary said that this energy was communicating that he passed not too long ago and was very unhappy with the state of the business and the facility as it is now.
We arrived as scheduled and met up with the shop supervisor. He led us into the facility. There was no late shift this evening and we had the facility all to ourselves. As we setup our equipment and began taking video and pictures, Gary began to make contact with a different energy, a male in his 40’s with long light hair in a ponytail wearing safety glasses and shop coat. He said that this energy was unhappy because he was unnoticed for his work. He continues to work on machines as if he was still on this plane and will continue to work until the supervisor acknowledges his work. Gary points to a specific area where he senses the energy is working and we quickly take photographs and video. Gary says that he has gotten the name of the person but we will not disclose his name here for respect of his family’s and the business’s privacy. The energy is upset because we are disturbing him from his work. He claims that he has deadlines to meet and we should leave him alone. We ask Gary to ask him a series of questions like, why does he feel like he still needs to work, and what will make him happy. The energy says that he was not noticed for his hard work and all he wants is for his supervisor to notice him. That is why he has been trying to get his attention with noises and other things. The supervisor was there and tried to communicate to the energy that he will acknowledge him and his work from now on. He even complimented him. Gary said that he would like the supervisor to create a mock time/job sheet for the energy and periodically fill and approve the time or job. We then split up into 2 groups of 2 and began to walk around facility. Gary announced the presence of a second energy, the same one in the car. He named the energy but again, we will not display his name here for respect of privacy to his family and the business. Gary said that this energy was a previous owner and that he had a loose character about him. He was unhappy with the state of the business and the facility. This energy was responsible for some of the other poltergeist activity reported by some of the past employees. After communicating back and forth for an hour or so, it began to get late and we wrapped things up. We decided to call it a night and examine all of the video, digital and audio evidence we had.

Findings & Opinions:
After collecting all the data from Gary with his communications with these energies, we found that the name he came up with of employee who passed on as a result of a massive heart attack did indeed match that of the former employee. We also checked on the name that Gary gave us of the previous owner and found that although it was only a first name, it did match the previous owner name as well as his description and the time at which he passed. We then examined our video, audio and digital photographs. Although we did not capture anything on video or audiotape, we did get three photographs with what seemed like lightning rods of energy right at the spot of where the energy of the employee was said to be working. Out of respect of the business we cannot post these photos, but we are still examining them to make sure these images were not produced by something else.
  It’s been many months after the investigation and there have been no more reports of any disturbances, strange sounds, or creepy shadows. Could all of this been just a strange coincidence, or is this Machine Shop really Haunted? We’re not sure, but the information we got from Gary the Psychic sure was interesting as far as accuracy.
